Once again it is a great honor for us at Rwanda Cinema Centre to see you participate and support the Rwanda Film festival 2008. For this 4th edition of the Rwanda Film Festival, we will share with you our stories and many stories from across the globe on audiovisual.

The Film festival will mark the brilliant work of our Rwandan youth who work round the clock to make films that not only create a positive platform of enlightment and infotainment but also one that contributes to capacity building, socio-cultural and economic development of Rwanda. The theme “HILLYWOOD CROSSROADS” will see producers, film directors, actors, festival directors enjoying a wide range of event while discovering our people and our rich culture.

In provinces (Rwanda Hillywood programme), rural communities will be offered a selection of entertaining and educational films with the objective of exposing to them lifestyles from all over the world. Local professionals (in provinces) in Human Rights and Public Health will be invited to answer questions from the audience after screening of films.

We are also pleased to invite you for our Hillywood program that we are always proud of, when we get the chance to showcase our country, while taking films to the hills of Rwanda. We will screen films by the Rwandan Youth in all the 4 corners of the country using our stadium size inflatable screen; an event of massive excitements.

This year Hillywood Crossroads will see producers, directors, and actors enjoying a range of events while discovering our country and our rich culture. They will spend good times at our local great hotels, restaurants and bars while getting to know our people, a network venue where local artists and potential investors exchange ideas on their projects. Paint Artists will exhibit their work;
musicians will perform and filmmakers will present their films.
